The service from Tino was beyond exceptional Stand out dishes were kingklip; melon; and the dessert The wine pairing was quite ordinary although the pinotage and Waterford were delicious The vegetarian menu needed perhaps some greater variety of textures and certainly more protein Portions were quite large with too much sauce

Wow! Wonderful experience. Our table covered both the Fauna and Flora menus and quality of food and presentation of both was world class. Tomato dish was everyone’s favourite. Excellent pairings but also excellent wine list with good options at all price points. Lovely warm ambience. Recommended!

Food was excellent - maybe a bit to go to match the finest of Cape Town dining but on the way for sure. Great value for money, and service (Tino) was absolutely outstanding. Ambience for me wasn't the greatest as it is the same room as breakfast so didn't feel as special to me as other fine dining. Also very loud American guy (wish someone had asked him to lower his voice) and he also used his phone to watch a video not on silent. But creative food - LOVED the fish with blueberry BBQ sauce and corn, loved the oyster dish and the dessert was absolutely fabulous.

Excellent food and a fantastic dining experience. Alan's passion and fabulous service made this one of the best experiences we've had in Cape Town.

Great food and in general good pairings. I would have loved a little deeper knowledge about the wines from the waiter side.

We loved the whole experience! I highly recommend choosing the menu with the wine pairings - the sommelier is world-class. If you are going as a couple, one person should choose the Fauna and the other the Flora menu, so that you can taste the widest variety of dishes possible. They are all wonderful and innovative. It's tough to choose a favourite, but if I had to it would be the tomato tartare and the kingklip with fermented blueberry sauce.
