    Very nice setting on this old farm. I wish I arrived earlier to have a walk in the garden by day light. Nice and cosy table by the fireplace. Large selection of dishes on the set menu with additional courses on the black board. The starter (Seared Tuna), and main (linefish) were very nice. The dessert (banana ravioli) was not my cup of tea (deep fried/daughnut style). Service is professional.

    At the entrance, we were welcomed with a warm smile, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Inside, the glow of the fireplace created a cozy and intimate ambiance, and we were seated at a beautifully decorated table that felt both elegant and inviting. Although there were no cocktails listed on the menu, I requested an espresso martini and to my delight, it was great. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the champagne and red wine, which were clearly well-selected and served with care. Prior to booking, I had asked if a vegetarian dish could be specially prepared for one of my guests. Not only was it accommodated, but it exceeded all expectations my guest was genuinely amazed. My own meat dish was equally impressive, worthy of comparison to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Italy. The evening concluded on a high note with an exquisite dessert and the unexpected touch of being personally portered to our car a gesture that perfectly capped off a flawless evening.

    A wonderful experience, food was delicious, service impeccable. Highly recommend chef Edgar for his excellent take on Mediterranean/European menu. Will be back.

    Ex Buitenverwachting Chef Edgar is back in SA and prepares now delicious food at the wonderful Boutique Hotel Adara outside Paarl. With all the Austrian Classics like Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn etc. We had the Special Menu with Saftgulasch and Semmelknödel. The a la carte menu is looking nice as well. But the wine and guava farm with all the historic buildings was beautifully restored and transformed in a stylish small hotel. A wonderful place with excellent food and a superfriendly service. Higly recomendable and worth a visit. Have a look to their website. The Wiener Schnitzel is only served on Fridays and Saturdays.
