Named in honour of South African modernist architect Revel Fox, The Revel Room pays tribute to the timeless spirit of his design, restrained yet expressive, refined yet deeply human.

Tucked within one of Cape Town’s architectural landmarks, the bar captures the warmth and sophistication of mid-century elegance: brass fixtures glow against dark timber, soft lighting spills over marble and leather, and the air hums with quiet conversation and clinking glasses.

Here, elegance doesn’t whisper; it welcomes. The Revel Room is where classic cocktails meet contemporary craft, where locals and travellers gather under soaring ceilings to savour the beauty of exceptional design, good company, and delicious taste.

    Dinner experience was very bad. *Starter was good *The Main meal was a disaster waited 1hour:45mins, the steak was a disaster we ordered a weldone steak and received both steaks under done. We were given complementary drinks after waiting that long but it does not make up for the bad experience and time wasted. *dessert was not bad but that main meal left a bad taste in our mouths.We were unable to finish the steak due to the disappointment. *Nothing beats the breakfast experience

    We waited for more than an hour to get there our starter and the place was still empty, another 45 minutes for our main. My steak wasn’t well done but I asked medium rare. The dessert came while we were on our way out already. I think it would be best if you could hire more staff especially in the kitchen.
