Our one of a kind family-friendly restaurant located in the heart of Irene, Centurion. The Barn Restaurant which is situated within the iconic Irene Farm, is in one of the historic original farm buildings which date back over 120 years. We offer intimate and charming inside dining or serene outside seating under the old oak trees with picturesque views of the farm. For the families, we have newborn calves to interact with, a jungle gym, splash pool for the toddlers and antique tractors to fiddle with. There are several small dams with ducks, geese, turtles and fish for you to see. If that wasn't enough to do, there are also walking trails around the farm which take you through our avenues of trees and pastures of Holstein cows. No matter the age, we have something for you. Come unwind at Irene Farm for an unforgettable experience and timeless memories!

    I think the price was exorbitant for a meal that wasn’t necessarily three course. I love the place/venue but the food didn’t all the way deliver

    I was incredibly disappointed that I made a reservation for a table inside and yet I received a table outside and was told that it was full inside. There is a lack of proper control regarding patrons coming and just sitting anywhere. Given that I made my reservation early in the week I don't not expect to be inconvenienced in this way. Incredibly short staffed.

    Our brunch at The Barn yesterday was utterly disappointing. From the moment we got there, our waiter, Stanley, was quite literally the worst waiter I have ever had at any establishment. He had a horrible, unhelpful attitude and back chatted us constantly when enquiring about how late the food was or even making special food arrangement for my daughter – there is not even one breakfast option for kids at this self-proclaimed kid friendly restaurant. The food took over 1.5 hours to get to us and was cold when it arrived. That isn't even taking into consideration that the orders were wrong and my aunt had to wait another 20 minutes for her meal to arrive. Waiters in general were unprepared and inattentive. The coffees were cold, the food was sub-par and the service was abysmal. Never coming back.

    We recently visited Irene Farm Restaurant and unfortunately left quite disappointed. The food was significantly overpriced for what we received, especially considering the quality. Our coffees arrived cold, which was a letdown right from the start. For breakfast none of the components were prepared well. The bacon lacked proper crispness, the mushrooms were underwhelming, and the eggs were not cooked to a good standard. Overall, the meal did not meet expectations, particularly for the price point. While the setting is lovely, the food and attention to detail need serious improvement to justify the cost.
