Our one of a kind family-friendly restaurant located in the heart of Irene, Centurion. The Barn Restaurant which is situated within the iconic Irene Farm, is in one of the historic original farm buildings which date back over 120 years. We offer intimate and charming inside dining or serene outside seating under the old oak trees with picturesque views of the farm. For the families, we have newborn calves to interact with, a jungle gym, splash pool for the toddlers and antique tractors to fiddle with. There are several small dams with ducks, geese, turtles and fish for you to see. If that wasn't enough to do, there are also walking trails around the farm which take you through our avenues of trees and pastures of Holstein cows. No matter the age, we have something for you. Come unwind at Irene Farm for an unforgettable experience and timeless memories!

Everything was lovely... the food, the experience, and the milkshakes. The farm is magnificent, and a walk around the farm was delightful. Definitely a place for socials with loved ones.

We scheduled for 1 pm paid the day before booking a milkshake tasting. They asked if they could serve it immediately and we said yes. It took them 50 min to bring the milkshakes. Their straws collapsed on themselves when trying to suck up milkshakes. The quality felt like when I made milkshakes for my parents at the age of 3. The quality is was below 3rd world country. While paying 1st world fees. The toppings were stale marshmallows, soggy dated deflated berries, and some attempt of crumbs. We watched as some people got served the same things we ordered while they arrived 30 mins after us. They force you to pay gratitude in advance making a milkshake booking for no service at all. You have to turn into an inspector to find your waiter at which point we altered between 3 of them as once they were gone they were gone forever. Remember we arrived before 1 pm for our milkshake tasting? We only received our food 2:30 pm. I grew up with my parents taking me to the farm watching how the cows got milked when there was only dirt road past the parking area. This place has lost everything I liked except the cows. I am for adapting to the times, but the wordt service and quality control and time it took.wa beyond repair how the experience was. The best was as we were leaving the premises our own waiter was already in a motor vehicle lifting coworkers to leave, the irony slow 🐌 with doing anything but effective at leaving. I will go watch some cows and leave nothing else.

We visited Irene Farm on New Years Day 2026. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, it was amazing to start the day off so early on the farm, with a beautiful buffet breakfast that catered for everyone's taste. After breakfast we walked around the farm, and enjoyed the animals and fresh country air. A visit to the Deli finished our morning, and we did get some fresh farm goodies to take home. Definitely worth the trip and visit.
