    I reserved a table for 2 for a Valentine Diner with my wife. I was given the option of the smoking section either outside/inside of which i chose inside. Looking forward to a romantic diner we were escorted to the bar area and given a round table with high chairs therein. I over looked that because i had done the booking online. Never the less we requested we be moved and the waiter in the bar spoke to some gentleman who indicated to me he'll go check. After a good 10mins of waiting for him to get back i went to inquire myself. We were then moved to the inside dining area. After calling in to change the reservation from 7 to 7:30 and then to wait in the car for around 20 minutes due to heavy rain followed by the delay in changing the table, we finally sat down ready to order a little after 8. The waiter arrives and tells us that we must order quickly because the kitchen is about to close. Really! I had a beer, she a glass of wine, we hurriedly ate because we were told that the staff starts cleaning by 9. Our second beer and glass of wine was practically gulped down because our waiter was nowhere to be seen until way after we were done eating. We had no time for desert as well. My wife and i sat in the car in front of Barons just chatting for over half an hour before we left for home and back to the kids. Whats disappointing is that this experience was in contrast to the previous week when i took my family to Barons for lunch.

We are grateful for you taking the time to consider us in making the Valentine's booking with us and we indeed failed you dismally. We will investigate this further as this is not what represents us as The Baron as you have said you have visited before for lunch. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible, so we discuss where we failed you so that we fix it for future. We do apologise once again.
