I really do not understand how a bar and restaurant on the beach is closed for walk-ins (you were only let in if you had a dine plan booking????) on a sunny summer's day in the height of the Christmas holidays. The Bungalow used to be a bar and restaurant full of vibe and summer festivities. Yesterday we were the only table being served food, and the only other guests were hotel guests who popped in for a drink. Really unfair on the staff who all sat around doing nothing, and on the patrons who had absolutely zero atmosphere in what used to be our summer bar of choice. I will never return. The food and service were excellent - such a pity the owners don't want anyone to experience it.

We were very dissatisfied and disappointed with our meal. We booked a table based on previous good experiences, & to take family out . But found they have revised the menu down to very few options, and the prices were too high for what was provided on the plate. Clearly they are targeting the overseas visitors. The main course was Ok, but certainly not up to expectations. The sweet was tiny, barely a few mouthfuls. We will not be returning.

Lost the fun beach vibe, little atmosphere the cricket was on instead of background music. No sushi anymore and limited supper menu choice. Disappointed after a wonderful two night stay in March with great food! Breakfast was good though!
