    We had a beautiful Father’s Day breakfast on the roof top. The food was delicious, coffee tasty and service by Thando was top class! Such a lovely little spot!

    While we did not sit in the restaurant (it was a takeaway chicken curry) it has been beautifully renovated - and we’ll definitely be back to dine in. Chicken curry was fragrant and delicious, and a generous serving. There was even a cute little bottle of sambals! It is one of their “weeknight dinners” that range from R85 to R110. Two options per evening. This one was R85 and I don’t think I could make it myself for that.

    My colleagues and I had a great time and the breakfast was amazing. The waiting time after ordering was impressively short. We couldn’t stop talking about how the place’s charming atmosphere. Looooved it!

    Great atmosphere, lovely rooftop deck. Food top quality. Service was friendly but two guys serving whole area meant we were waiting long periods for anyone to help.

    Enjoyed a wonderful evening on the roof terrace at the Charles last night. The ambience and surroundings were fantastic as was the service. I opted for a couple of Tapas dishes ( Pork ribs and fillet in sauce) with a glass of wine. Both were just delicious and for Tapas the portions were quite generous. Look forward to going again - highly recommended

    View is lovely from the roof top, food was delicious. But service was terrible. Seems there was only 1 waiter. Our children’s food took over an hour. Everyone else had finished eating for over 30 minutes by the time they brought the kiddies chicken strips. Would be such a lovely place if they improved their service
