Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

Our first time at Diemersdal. What an amazing experience. William was great and i neglected to ask for the name of the gentleman who assisted him in serving us - he was also amazing and engaging. The tapas was excellent, we all had the steak which was world class. The dessert unfortunately was disappointing. The base of the chocolate tart was way too hard and the honey comb in the posset was unbreakable. Other than that - we will be back. Thanks for an amazing meal (besides the dessert) and experience. Oh and i forgot - the kahlua coffees were perfect.

The food was innovative, very tasty and attractively plated. However, the venue is dark and without any windows and any view (since it was a stable). Why can't they knock out some of the long wall and install windows? Or is this not allowed, historically speaking? Creating some views would greatly enhance the ambience.

Another fantastic lunch at Diemersdal. Just one of our favorites during the years. The weather was perfect so we dined on the terrace with 5 sharing plates (the squid is the best there is) and the churros as a dessert. The pinotage Reserve is always great and at a very good price point. Staff always friendly and nice to have chat with them. Gives a very personal touch to the restaurant experience. We’ll be back soon.
