Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

    My wife and I started at the tasting room. Tanya was very helpful and explained the wines to us in detail. We then proceeded to the Eatery and were warmly welcomed. Our waiter was very helpful. Sorry we didn't get his name as I don't think he introduced himself. We decided on the 1.2kg T-bone steak to share. It was served with delicious homemade chips, onion rings, a fresh green salad and a bearnaise sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection and tender. We only managed half, and brought the rest home. Great value for money. Would definitely go again.

    Brilliant experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. Attentive service and beautiful detail with their meals. The food was incredible with nothing disappointing us. Definitely a restaurant worth going to and we will certainly go back.

    A most enjoyable experience! Well worth the money. One member of our group feasted on the vegetarian options. Thank you for a memorable afternoon. We also enjoyed the excellent wine.
