Our food is civilised without being pretentious … that is to say it has natural taste, smells and textures, and much character… often it looks beautiful too. What is paramount is that it is prepared with respect, savvy and love… then, it is the right food for us to eat …

    It was great again! The food was the finest, and the service was excellent. After dining at the Foodbar with friends the previous week, I celebrated my birthday at this lovely place with my family yesterday. Where else? We were all delighted!

    Outstanding food as always coupled with top class, friendly service. I think if there were a few more reasonably priced wines on offer it would make coming heremore regularly an even more attrractive proposition. R280 for a house wine is way over the top, in my opinion.
