Our food is civilised without being pretentious … that is to say it has natural taste, smells and textures, and much character… often it looks beautiful too. What is paramount is that it is prepared with respect, savvy and love… then, it is the right food for us to eat …

    The Food is great. The Service is effective, but not personal. It does not create a feeling of hospitality. The Ambience does not fit the quality of the food. Old chairs and tables. Terrible interior design. You basically feel like in some South American tourist beach bar. Considering the ambience, the foodbarn is not a place I would go back. In SA, getting a better interior is not expensive. This one just looks 20 years old, worn and ugly.

    Over priced and menu was limited for a lunch. Not sure my family will return.

    Hi Denise, we have 10 options on our cafe lunch menu and on our Bistronomy lunch menu, we have 13 starters, 9 mains and 6 desserts to choose from. That's a whopping 38 options, I'm not sure how many more options you would like? I took the liberty of checking the camera footage of your table, as I thought you may have not received the two menus, but I can see on the footage that you did.
