Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    It was the first time that I hosted more than 4 guests and the service staff and kitchen staff were impeccable. I was there to celebrate a 2 year anniversary with a client and everything ran perfectly.

    The girls and I had a fantastic birthday celebration. Angus, Phillip and Steve made us feel really awesome and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. We honestly felt good, especially as locals in our City!

    What a wonderful experience. We had an amazing evening - stunning views, amazing foods and excellent service. Our food was extremely good, the steak was cooked perfectly, the frites hot and crispy and served with delicious beetroot. We were looked after by Oswald who was friendly and professional he kindly guided us through the choice of wines and what a good suggestion it was !. Compliments and thanks to the chef and entire team in the restaurant who all made it a beautiful evening. We will definitely be back in 2027 when we return to Cape Town.
