    At The Hussar Grill Mossel Bay, a business dinner unfolded into a standout dining experience marked by polish and precision. Service, led by Lani, was impeccable—attentive, intuitive, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. Cocktails were expertly crafted, setting the tone for a meal that delivered consistently from start to finish. Starters of black mussels and prawns with avocado were fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully executed. The mains confirmed the kitchen’s strength: a commanding tomahawk steak, a flawlessly prepared medium-rare carpetbagger fillet, a perfectly cooked 500g rump, and an elegant, tender Chateaubriand. Sides—creamy mashed potatoes, garlic spinach, squash, sautéed mushrooms, crispy fried onions, and roasted vegetables—were all well-considered and complemented the dishes seamlessly. A carefully curated wine selection, including a standout Stellenbosch Pinotage and a refined red blend, paired beautifully with the meal. Dessert drinks offered a fittingly indulgent close. Refined yet approachable, The Hussar Grill Mossel Bay delivers a consistently high-quality experience, equally suited to business dining or special occasions.

    Hi there Was a frequent customer Pretoria and George. Six of us visited today the new site in Mosselbay. Ambiance atmosphere and decor very nice.We all had a variety of dishes.The steaks was perfect aswell as two fish dishes.But the best was a well spoken fully trained waiter Shante. Look after her.She is most definitely the best waitress in the Garden region .Well spoken,well educated and presented our food and drinks in style. Well done Shante.
