    An excellent experience. We were looking for a curry immersion and the good people at the restaurant obliged. We sampled a lot of appetizers and a number of mains. All very good. We were in town for 2 days but I would dine at this restaurant if back in Durban again. Service was excellent. Preston, our server, was both polite and knowledgeable. Whomever is looking for a good curry experience should give this restaurant a chance. It won't disappoint.

    Lamb curry was excellent. Butter chicken was tasty. Chicken tikka is our normal go to and was good. Unfortunately the veg meals were disappointing. Broad beans curry was tasteless, and what was called veg pakoda was just battered potato slices (sad). Being in a large group we opted to go with the set menu. Portions served appeared to be smaller than normal - but perhaps my expectations were high. I was taken aback at the Ala carte menu prices which now seems to be geared more towards our tourists. This was not the case a few years ago. Pity as locals also enjoy visiting restaurants at the Pearls !!!

    My partner got food poisoning and she is still recovering. Other than that, food was great and so was the service.
