    Amazing venue, good food, staff lovely. Definitely a good weather only venue. Cape Town weather can be brutal and changes in seconds. Unfortunately the weather was awful - rain, mist, wind etc - obviously luck of the draw. Although an outside venue, I do feel that more could be done to accommodate a change in weather - better umbrella's, possibly some of those big gas heaters, blankets perhaps? This is definitely a positive criticism. We were required to pay a deposit per person in our group (a large group of 17) and it would be deducted from our bill, totally understandable and acceptable. I never asked the question on arrival that should we cancel due to inclement weather would we be refunded, so my advice would be to definitely check!

    Very disappointing experience, especially as first-time visitors. The service was poor from the outset. Our waitress seemed completely uninterested and made no effort to assist us with the drinks menu or offer any recommendations. The overall impression was that she simply did not care whether we were there or not. It was also quite windy, which is understandable given the location, but no blankets were offered to make guests more comfortable something you would reasonably expect from a venue positioned as a premium sunset spot. After around 30 minutes, my group and I decided to leave and instead went to the Silo Rooftop, where the staff were far more welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would avoid returning on a future visit to Cape Town.

    It has the potential to be a great location unfortunately we didn’t have a sea view form Lawns 2 as the trees were too high. Be sure to book a shady spot as they refused to put up the umbrella’s due to the wind and we cooked in the sun. Food is overpriced and quality is not what you would expect for the price. Great casual vibes. Worth a visit if you not going to spend a lot.

    Food was not up to standard, extremely salty,tasteless salad dressing, sauce for the steamed bun was off.green salad was smooshy.we waited for the bill without our waiter checking up on us.had to tell other waiters to come through for us.Very bad experience for the price we paid.

    When I was reserving a table two weeks in advance we asked for a nice table with a nice view. Wen we came we were seated right at the entrance to the restaurant, separated from the loans with the wooden and rope structure (wall) and from other people in the restaurant. It was the worst place ever! I asked the manager Keira to change the place. She said it is possible just it will take some minutes. We were offered drinks and were waiting. After half an hour when we saw that Keira sited the new German guests without reservation to the table in the middle of the to loan I asked How long will it take to be seated. Keira said give me 15 minutes and I will find you a nice table. After an hour of waiting we gave up. I went to Keira and said what I think of her unprofessional behavior. We did not order food just paid for the drinks and left. I will never go back to this restaurant again. I could see that people waited for their food for a long time and were also anxious about it.
