    Walking in I was blown away by the delicious smells and I was excited to order some food. Unfortunately the taste did not quite deliver for me and the chicken was a bit dry. The service was extremely slow.

We’re really sorry to hear that the service felt slow for you — that evening turned out to be unexpectedly very busy, and we were doing our best to keep up. We understand waiting is frustrating, especially when you’re hungry and excited. That said, it’s important to clarify that you ordered our King Tray and Chicken Tahchin, which are both signature dishes and made entirely from scratch. These naturally take 35–40 minutes to prepare properly. We don’t cut corners, and everything is cooked fresh — that’s part of our commitment to quality and the reason many guests choose us. When I personally checked in with your table and asked how the food was, you said it was “terrible,” which honestly took me by surprise. I thought you were joking, because all three of you had finished both dishes — down to the last bite. If there really was an issue with the food, I wish you had been honest with me in the moment so we could’ve addressed it on the spot. We welcome fair criticism, but saying the food didn’t deliver after you fully enjoyed it isn’t something we can take seriously. We’re proud to be a five-star restaurant that works hard to deliver fresh, flavorful food every day. If one element — like the chicken — felt a bit dry, we always want to hear that honestly and constructively. But a 3-star review based on that alone doesn’t reflect the full experience or effort put into your meal.     The food is Authentic and extremely well prepared. The Lamb Kebabs and Chicken Kebabs are fresh and delicious.. as are the salads and dips. Ambience is perfect - Service staff are Friendly and efficient and the food comes out of the kitchen quickly. It's very easy to over order... My advice is to start small and keep ordering as and when you need. Alcohol is not served at the restaurant but you are welcome to bring your own. I find the corkage fee of R45 per bottle a little cheeky as you cannot purchase there.
