    This was our first experience of Persian food and we loved it! We went for lunch with an Iranian friend who made some excellent food recommendations. Do yourself a favour and try the Tahchin! It's incredible! Also try the Iranian drinks. They were all good but we liked the Khakshir the best. We had the Mirza Ghassemi for starters, which was a deliciously smokey aubergine dip. Will have to go back on a Thursday or Friday to try the special dish made only on those days - I think it was called Ghormeh Sabzi. The service was excellent. You can't really see much of the restaurant from the street, so don't be put off by external appearances. Upstairs and inside it's beautiful, with a stunning view of Table Mountain.
