    The food was excellent (Mothers Day Menu) and our waitron was superb. Would recommend The Potato Shed for good food and good "bang for your buck".

    The menu sounded enticing, so we booked for lunch! The Potato Shed used to be in JHB CBD, so I was excited to see that it moved out and is in Waterfall now. Upon arrival (just after 11.00) the music was blaring, but we thought that it was only because there weren't any customers yet. The volume was not decreased, though. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation or to even communicate with the waiter. When the food arrived, everything looked delicious. Two out of the three dishes were ice cold though. I ordered a starter that contained literally half of the ingredients stated on the menu. At this stage we were quite hungry, and with the music blaring, we just finished our meal to get out of there. What a mediocre and disappointing experience.
