Pan-Asian cocktail lounge and restaurant situated in the iconic Mount Nelson, a Belmond Hotel. By Chefs Warehouse.

Halal: To note that while we can accommodate diners with our vegetarian or pescatarian menus which do not include alcohol or pork in their preparation, our kitchen does use these ingredients and we do have a bar on site.

    The Red Room was absolutely fabulous from the minute we walked in until we left. Delicious food, good wine and excellent service. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience!!!

    What an amazing evening at The Red Room at the Mount Nelson. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and décor made it feel like we had been transported somewhere completely different. We honestly forgot we were even in Cape Town and just got lost in the experience. The service was warm, friendly, and really attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and special for our group. And the food was incredible — every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. If it’s your first time visiting The Red Room, the Chef’s Choice menu is definitely the way to go. It’s the perfect way to experience everything the kitchen has to offer. A really special dining experience
