    Overall service was great... Please can you add WHITE HOT CHOCOLATE to your menu.. Quite a few times we want to go there but rather end up at Star Bucks or M&B.. The only disappointment for yesterday is that your restuarant don't serve Brown Bread?? Was disappointed.. Please always keep those side doors close.. You don't want to smell smoke when having breakfast or any meal for that matter..

    Ambience: Ambience is genuinely impressive - one of the restaurant’s strongest points. The warm lighting, stylish decor, and lively vibe made us feel we're in for a treat. It sets high expectations immediately, and we were genuinely excited for the celebration. Food: Unfortunately, the food doesn’t match the ambience or justify the premium prices. We’re particular about value for money at higher-end spots, and both quantity and quality fell short compared to nearby competitors. The burgers, for example, are priced generally higher than those at The Rooftop Grill and Bar, yet cost at least R50 more while offering less in presentation, size, flavor, and satisfaction. Rooftop’s burgers look stunning, taste amazing, and include a great suburb view with solid ambience. Without a standout location, The Sassy Italian’s pricing feels off - we’re happy to pay for quality, but this didn’t deliver. Dessert = major disappointment: cheesecake slices at R140 each. I love cheesecake, I was excited. The base was thin, soft, and soggy - as if it absorbed moisture - not worthy of the name. A Mugg & Bean’s cheesecake slice is ~R80 and literally dwarfs this one in size, richness, and execution. It didn’t come close to matching the price. Service: Needs improvement. Celebrating with two bottles of red, we asked the manager for a wine aerator - he didn't know what it was and needed explaining. Restaurants like Lupa bring them automatically (without request needed) and charge far less corkage than the R100 here. The wine also arrived at room temperature, not at the proper red-serving temp that most places maintain. Overall: The ambience creates a promising first impression, but overpriced, underwhelming food and inconsistent service made it feel like poor value. The space has real charm - but kitchen execution, portions, and service details need to better align with the pricing to deliver a satisfying experience. We left disappointed.

    Lovely food and lovely restaurant Will come back again. Suggestion for improvement: Service is intermittent. Waiters disappear when you need them. Management shows up when food is delivered but don’t seem to be managing waiters. Waiters don’t help unless it’s their table. Culture and service change needed
