The place was everything I expected and more. Food took a while to come but it was definitely worth the wait. Loved everything, only bummer is the one in long street currently do not serve alcohol.

Went there for my first time on Thursday for their Date Night special. . . Possibly some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. . . To make a Margherita pizza taste like a meaty lasagna is simply insane. I don't eat sushi but wow. . . Fresh and extremely enjoyable. . . As for our waiter Mr Shubert. . . The man is amazing. Did an incredible job moving between clients the whole evening and always wore a warm and friendly smile on his face. Thank you so much for the amazing food and unbelievable great food. Will definitely be back.

For the service, me and my friends were not satisfied in fact we felt belittled by a waiter(short, black guy and chubby). He wanted us to make a tip by force telling us that he went up and down for us and got to a point where he told us we mustn’t think that we’re at KFC. Not that we didn’t have money to tip but his service wasn’t tip worthy. He was angry and a little aggressive and he didn’t seem sober because he was clumsy and got to a point where he spilled juice on top of my friend’s phone. He told us we mustn’t come back there. He also told us how he comes to work for his family but we don’t want to tip. He had a bad temper. We were not rude to him but he was rude. Personally we wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Thank you

Food was good but wasn't inform of the liquor license issue until seated at the table. Ended up spending R165 on a bottle of wine to accompany our meal that was meant to cost us R350 for sushi, 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine. The other customers that were informed had the same reaction as us, very disappointed. Pulling funny faces- felt so bad that we offered the rest of our wine to them when we left. Live in noordhoek so could've gone to the shed in kalk bay if I was informed.. ruined my evening.

The best pizza in Cape Town! Customers should be made aware the The Shed currently do not have a wine licence - huge disappointment at the prospect of enjoying a world class pizza with a glass of soda water! This probably explains why the restaurant was rather quiet on a Friday evening. I really do not mind bringing my own wine, just need to know about it. (PS we did have our wine in the end)
