Our food philosophy is centred on the honest, homegrown abundance found in the Western Cape - where beautiful produce arrives from our trusted suppliers. With a focus on simplicity and quality, ranging from delicious breakfasts to easy-going brunch and lunch choices. Alongside our exceptional offering of coffees, warm drinks, juices and smoothies - our intention is that you leave The Strangers Club feeling nurtured and whole.

Kindly note: during busy periods, food takes around 25-30 minutes.

Breakfast ends at 11:45am Monday - Friday and is served all day on Saturday.

Lunch is served from Monday - Friday 12pm - 3:45pm.

Please understand that we can only serve breakfast and lunch during their respective times.

A lot of effort has gone into creating our menu and so do not allow changes to be made to our dishes. We do not want anything coming out of our kitchen that has not been tried and tested by us.

Due to our ingredients being seasonal and freshly delivered, we serve dishes until sold out daily.

    My first visit to The Strangers Club with friends visiting from KZN. I booked through Dineplan. On the morning of my lunch booking I tried repeatedly to phone the restaurant to change the time of my booking. The number was clearly not available/registered/cancelled. I then emailed {as per Dineplan's instruction}. I received no reply. We arrived to be told that the telephone number was no longer in use and "no they don't check their emails". Well then why is it still on your website and why do Dineplan have it as the contact number? Anyway we managed to get a table only to be told that they do not serve alcohol. Fine. "Can we BYO?' No. I have no problem with this. However nowhere on their website did it state that they were alcohol free. Very very disappointing experience

    Nous avions réservé pour 13h30 3jours avant (le vendredi pour le lundi), et avons été prévenu par mail à 10h le jour même que le restaurant fermait à 14H. Le mail est arrivé dans les spams donc nous ne l'avons pas vu. on m'a dit que normalement on prévenait par message mais que comme j'ai un numéro internationale ce n'était pas possible. Je suis au Cape depuis un certain temps maintenant et n'ai jamais eu ce problème car les locaux contactent via WHATSAPP - que se soit pour une course privée, une activité.... Bref, une mauvaise excuse qui nous aura voulu un déjeuner rapide et des portions vraiment toutes petites. Nous sommes ressortis frustrés et ayant faim. Domage
