Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    We were a big group of chatty girls & lots of champagne. Thank you Fortunate for your immaculate service & kind heart. Also, the FOOD! Oh my, we were in complete silence after it arrived. And it takes a lot to get us quiet. Brilliant! Thank you as well for accommodating our needs in terms of where we wanted our table on the beautiful lawns. We will be back!!

    Restaurant week lunch; just outstanding. Our second visit here & this time we sat under the beautiful trees - such a wonderful setting. Excellent service. A very special experience & one we’d certainly recommend. Thank-you.
