Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    Disappointed with the offering, expected a much better main, I felt the duck was well prepared however a simple cost effective dish. The desert I would classify as a morning breakfast bowl i do not mind paying for value this was definitely not value for money! I will not recommend this to my friends.

    Absolutely stunning setup in the garden and delicious food, creations and fresh local products, whci you hardly find elsewhere. Just the service was a bit slow and partly not very attntive, there is room for improvement. Otherwise an absolutely fanstastic experience, we will be back! If you want to experience it as well, make sure you can sit outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens!

    What a wonderful wonderful meal we've had at The Table! The food was incredibly tasty, without being overly complicated. The rustic table set up under the magnificent oak trees was beautiful, and super chilled, service was great. The younger kids loved the possibility to run around and play on the lawn between courses. The adults were taking in the scenery and leisurely pace of the place. This is not a posh fine dining establishment, but a friendly place with honest wholesome food and chilled vibes. Loved it. :-)
