Leigh and Brendan of The Table at De Meye have opened a second restaurant at Oak Valley. Set around a beautiful pool, the venue offers alfresco dining under either next to the pool or under the oak trees in the garden where guests are encouraged to linger well into the afternoon.

The restaurant concept is the same as that of De Meye- a set, three course, sharing style lunch consisting of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu will change weekly based on what is available and in season.

    On Dineplan stood R545 and on the bill it was R595 pp. In the end I paid 545 pp. But it was a bit embarrassing.

    The experience was wonderful from arriving on a Sunday thinkg we had a booking and realising it was a booking for a Wednesday, the staff and cheff made every effort to accommodate us non the less. They made us feel welcome. The food, ( set menue) was delicious and well presented. The service was on point, warm and friendly. Well worth the visit. Book well ahead! We will go back sometime for sure.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Table. The food was exceptional and Teddy gave us wonderful service. The aubergine dip on fresh ciabatta for starters was the stand out as well as the yogurt panna cotta for dessert. It's a great spot for a celebration, not your average lunch menu.

    The Table at Oak Valley – A Feast for the Senses An unforgettable afternoon at The Table at Oak Valley — where every detail comes together in effortless harmony. From the first bite to the last, the cuisine was nothing short of exceptional. Bold, honest flavours, beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying. The Confit du Canard was a standout — organic, rich, and exquisitely prepared… quite simply, melt-in-the-mouth perfection. Our appetisers were delightful, and the dessert… the perfect, indulgent finale. The concept itself is inspired — relaxed country dining at its absolute best. Two Tables, each offering a unique yet equally charming setting, surrounded by the serene beauty of Oak Valley. And then, the people… warm, genuine, and gracious — the kind of hospitality that elevates a meal into a memorable experience. This is more than dining — it’s a moment to savour. We will most certainly return. Just… exceptional.

    Beautiful setting and view but the food was not great and no real attention to detail, felt mass produced rather than individually catered. Not worth the price at all.
