Our restaurant offers the perfect environment from which to escape the hustle and bustle of city-life. The light and contemporary space with a double volume ceiling, wood finishes, earthy tones and South African decor, offers panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, the rolling hills and vineyards. The wooden deck is the perfect setting for sipping on a glass of crisp Sauvignon Blanc whilst the kids are entertained in the play-area. The menu prepared by head chef Tamzyn Ehlers is simple, unpretentious yet sophisticated, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner on selected evenings. The menu is colourful and creative with an elegant flair.

    When I called to make the booking, I mentioned it's my son's 21st birthday. The guy I spoke to indicated they will do something special. I called the next day to increase the amount of people for the booking again mentioned my son's birthday. Nothing special was done, which was not a train smash. But the waitress impatient rushing us. When we ordered a few small plates to share as starters, she immediately asked for our mains order. Never filled up our wine, but rushed over to clear plates even though we were not done. Our seating was ao that the waitress had to squeeze behind me to get to the person sitting next to me. She was so abrupt and rushed that a dirty fork fell on my pants. Hardly an apology. My napkin was on my lap, after having some of the bread she put the dirty knife I used to butter the bread on the table as my napkin was on my lap. I did not want to spoil my son's special day, so kept quiet but will not be back or recommend the venue to anyone.
