    The space is quite inviting and cosy and the food was of a high standard. Please just ensure that there are enough utensils and crockery ;(glasses, plates, etc.). The waiter brought us bowls for our pizza, because there were no more plates available at the time). There were also no beer glasses left and my husband had to drink his beer out of a water/ juice glass. The waiter did not check on us regularly and eventually we had to go call him to bring us the bill.

    The sushi was amazing, but just a bit pricey so thankful for the half price special. Staff are friendly and responsive.

    We just had a pizza as we had had a late lunch and weren’t particularly hungry. It was good but not exceptional. The service, however, was excellent and I really like the warm welcoming decor. Sadly there were only three parties eating there on a Friday night. What a pity Newlands people aren’t a bit more supportive of this lovely restaurant right in its heart. Will def go back.

    We chose the restaurant for the variety of dishes to make sure all guests could find something they liked and everyone really loved their food. It was very tasty. I had avo in my poke bowl that was hard but they sorted that very quickly and even gave me extra salmon for the inconvenience. Also a lovely brownie and ice cream to celebrate my birthday! Will definitely be back.
