Morii at The Vineyard Hotel offers an Italian-inspired dining experience shaped by Cape Town’s seasons, produce and sense of place. The name Morii speaks to the desire to hold onto fleeting, beautiful moments, which is exactly what the restaurant celebrates through handmade pastas, slow-proved breads, house made charcuterie and cold-fermented wood-fired pizzas. Fresh, ingredient-led dishes offer familiar comfort with a lighter, expressive touch, from a reimagined Caprese to a deeply comforting tiramisu.

The drinks program is crafted with the same attention to balance and enjoyment. The wine list brings together Italian expressions and Cape favourites chosen for character and terroir. The cocktail menu centers on the Negroni, offered in thoughtful regional interpretations, alongside lighter spritzes and classic digestives including grappa and limoncello.

    There wasn't a dish that we didn't like. Everything was amazing. The after dinner treats was spectacular. We celebrated 2 birthdays and an anniversary. It is rare to find a restaurant where the cakes, desserts are as amazing as the food.

    AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Everything was amazing , from the scenery to the service and don’t even get me started on the food. I don’t eat much cause I don’t like feeling like I overate.I’ll normally eat half a plate and give the rest to my boyfriend. I ate it all. That’s how good it was. Overeating be damned. I was so so so full and so so so happy by the end of the evening. Thanks Mario for that amazing experience🤞🏼❤️ Will definitely be back again.
