    We ordered the winter set menu and decided to try the steak tartare. Taste-wise, excellent. Though it was a little jarring to see the waiter use a bottle of Maggie’s Worcestershire sauce; decanting condiments like that into small holders would elevate the experience tenfold. Service was a little all over the place: cutlery falling, fumbling while assembling the tartare. I was without a fork, knife, or napkin for most of the meal and had to ask for them between each course. The food itself was great, apart from the onion soup, which felt heavy and salty. The decor felt like a random assortment of thrift-store finds rather than something curated. A bit of a letdown, if I’m honest. That said, there’s real potential here: dimmed lighting and better lighting focal points would go a long way for ambiance, and some training on fine-dining service etiquette would round it out. But until those things are met. R2500 for a meal and some drinks for 2 is not worth it.

    Lovely place, very nice setting. The staff was amazingly kind. Cocktails very original. Will definitely come back next time in CPT!
