    We loved our dinner at The Wes. Michelle and her colleagues took so good care of us, not the least our three kids. Great food! Wonderful interiors! Highly recommended!

    The only issue i had was we paid so much only to have a rushed experience. The booking on Dineplan allowed a booking at 14pm and even 15pm. On arrival we were told that the kitchen closed at 14:30pm. The booking was for 4 people and some people arrived late after 14pm. We had to order quickly and basically talk and eat quickly. The waitress said she had tried to call the day of the booking but could not get ahold of me so I told her she should have emailed me , the booking was done earlier in the week they had tons of time to see if there was a mistake with the booking times not aligning with closing time . The guest I was with wanted to take pictures of the experience but we had to hurry due to closer time. Something so small like that can really mess up someone's experience on top of that I drive all the way from somerset west which is 45km plus one way from the restaurant.

    There are restaurants that serve good food, and then there are those that create a moment — a world of their own. Wes belongs firmly to the latter. On a recent solo dinner there, I was transported. The space is beautiful — meticulously designed yet unpretentious, bathed in warm light that flatters both mood and memory. The bar alone is a visual symphony, evoking the whimsical precision of a Wes Anderson film. You half expect a character in pastel linen to walk in, order a martini, and change the tone of the evening. The service matched the setting. Linda, my waiter, struck the rare balance of attentiveness and ease. His cocktail recommendations were impeccable — each one a small experiment that paid off beautifully. The food followed suit: each dish executed with quiet confidence, culminating in a chocolate mousse so divine I’ve been thinking about it ever since. If there’s one note still waiting to be written, it’s in the music. The playlist, while pleasant, didn’t quite meet the atmosphere’s potential. A touch of live jazz, or a more curated selection that mirrors the cinematic beauty of the space, could turn an excellent experience into something transcendent. Wes doesn’t just serve dinner — it stages it. And I, for one, can’t wait for the encore.

    The food was good, the service was friendly. The restaurant is great for a girls get together and the esthetics are very girly

    We had a lovely time at dinner. The food was fresh, tasty and came out promptly. The service was immaculate thanks to our waitress Lee. I love the aesthetics of the restaurant as well. Must try spot ! Get the mussels and crème brûlée
