    Wow! As a filmmaker I HAD to check out The Wes! The Wes Anderson themed restaurant invites you in with pastel colours and gentle lighting! The beautiful mural on the wall had me fangirling!! My friend and I brought our own wine which was no problem, and the corkage was very reasonable. The food was so delicious and the perfect portion! We had Q as our waitress and she took such good care of us! I loved the experience and will definitely be back again! Thank you so much for having us! :)

    I visited Wes Bistro on Bree Street this past Friday, and the entire experience was truly five-star. From the warm welcome at the door to the beautiful ambience and vibrant atmosphere inside, everything was exceptional. Our waitress, Q, was an absolute standout. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. She took such good care of us and somehow seemed to anticipate exactly what we needed before we even said a word. And the food—wow. Absolutely sublime. It’s so refreshing to go to a restaurant where not only the service and atmosphere are exceptional, but the food completely blows you away too. There was nothing lacking. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavour, and worth every cent. This was a 10/10 experience for me. I’m already hoping to be back for their Christmas Eve dinner, and I genuinely can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended.

    We had a lovely brunch experience at Wes Bistro. It was our wedding anniversary and, once the staff knew, they went out of their way to celebrate with us. The mimosas are good but quite expensive. I had the avo and salmon trout on toast with a poached egg. It was delicious. And my husband really enjoyed his omelette. We sat at a table with a view of Shortmarket Street and it was great for people watching and a relaxed Saturday morning. I must say that the service was excellent. We'll be back for dinner!

    Great Service, fantastic weiter Zee, Beautiful Ambience, but the well written menu and high prices of the food put the expectations to a certain level, which was not met at all. The duck breast was fully overcooked and tough, the Mussel broth was just cream and tasteless, the crème brule had no vanilla aroma at all. Very disappointing and the kitchen has to improve a lot to play in this price league.

    Mediocre. How this is #18 restaurant on tripadvisor is a mystery. The moules starter were ok but too much cream, not enough mussels. Fish of the day, cape salmon, grilled, very average, nothing special in taste or presentation,

    My friend received a special birthday treat (thank you!), however it was still quite overshadowed by the fact that the main reason we were there (Parisian Hot Chocolate) had gone up 82% in less than 5 months, as well as undergone shrinkflation, which was a huge disappointment.
