Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    We've had a few wonderful meals at The Woodlands and will definitely go back again. The service is timely and very friendly, the food delicious and the ambiance homely and warm.

    Excellent meal. Great service. A really cosy and warm environment. The staff are extremely attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable

    The Woodlands in my neighbourbood restuarant and I keep returning because it has such a lovely ambiance and nice menu. But this is the fourth time that the food took more than 45 minutes to arrive, the serving staff are inattentive, and the food is sadly mediocre. Some of the portions - like the carbonara - are small. Each time the management sends a lovely post-dinner message to one's phone (a lovely touch) and I mention the poor service and nothing changes.

We are vey sorry to hear that the latest experiences were not up to expectations and our usual standards, we will look into it more to make sure it doesn't happen again long waiting for food & not up to scratch service.
