Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    This is the second time I've been here and the food is insanely delicious. The portions are massive and so good. The seafood pasta and the lamb ragu is the best pasta I've had. They were even kind enough to give me a complimentary tiramisu for my birthday. The service is amazing.

    Had a wonderful food and wine evening with Woodlands and Groot Phesantekraal. Great atmosphere,great food and great wine. Perfect date night with my wife.

    Lovely homely experience at local eatery. Service was good. I had the seafood risotto, which was tasty and a generous portion! My husband really enjoyed his pizza. We will be back.
