Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Was our first time at Woodlands Eatery and were a party of 12. The service was smooth, unobtrusive yet efficient and the food was to die for! We will definitely be back!!

    I have gone to Woodlands many times and am never disappointed. The owner is lovely, a safe, dedicated parking lot for guests is a huge perk in Caoe Town and they have the best pasta dishes in town!

    The staff clearly had disagreements amongst themselves as one could hear them swearing at each other, this reflected in the way they presented the food and drinks

Regarding what you felt was a disagreements amongst our staff, i can assure you, we all work very well together as majority of us being working as a team since 2017 (front of the house & kitchen) and Italians like us are known for being fiery & passonate about what we do, that's what you might have picked up passing in front of our kitchen!! We hope that we didn't compromise too much you're dining experience, we are so sorry and accept our deepest apology if we did it.     We've had a few wonderful meals at The Woodlands and will definitely go back again. The service is timely and very friendly, the food delicious and the ambiance homely and warm.
