    We made a booking that was unfortunately during a football game. The place was busy, understaffed and struggling to keep up. It took us 20 minutes to get a table despite making a booking. Drinks took ages to receive, one such drink, the Part-Wolf Lager tasted of rotten eggs, likely due to a faulty batch or uncleaned glass. Food was alright though we unfortunately received the wrong side order. All in all a bad visit that could’ve been avoided if the place was properly staffed, management was present and if the kitchen had properly prepared.

    Food was good, waitress was lovely but service wasn’t great - it was very busy and this definitely impacted waiting time. Incredibly noisy which made it difficult to speak - hence the waitress struggling to hear our order request and getting it wrong. Not a bad experience just room for improvement.

    Very disappointed with my experience. I booked way in advance for an outside seating and when we arrived the waitress wanted to take us to the back of the restaurant and then questioned me when I mentioned we booked outside and then showed me to a terrace table she has actually set up for me even though I booked outside. All of our food was covered in oil. From the Mac and cheese bombs to the fries, onions rings and even the burger which also just looked like someone threw everything on the buns. We had 3 different waiters. Honestly would not recommend dining here.

    I can honestly say when I initially tried to reserve a table for Christmas lunch telephonically, the lady who answered the phone didn't have the best telephone etiquette and seemed very preoccupied with other things whilst talking to me. I eventually managed to reserve a table for my family and I for Christmas lunch and it ended up being an awesome experience, truly superb, from the welcoming, the server, the food to the whole ambiance. Thank you Tigers Milk V&A waterfront you assisted in making my family and my Christmas this year unforgettable. This is another example that a smile and friendly welcoming truly go a long way.
