Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Charles our waiter was exceptional, he was totally on the ball and anticipated our needs before we could even ask. but without being overbearing. He gets 10/10. our food was good however my colleague ordered fillet steak at first medium and then when Charles asked regarding the plate we opted for the Black gridle plates he amended the order to medium-rare allowing for more cooking on the plate. Well, that piece of fillet was so rare that it could have still been walking in the pastures. Your grill master needs ensure that people get what they ask for especially if you as an establishment has asked how we want our steak cooked. I overheard the table next to us complaining about the same thing and they actually sent their food back. But overall, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
