Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Taking parking tickets from clients and the returning them with a R10:00 per ticket on the bill is not on. Communicate with your customers or pay for the parking. This issue spoilt our evening. Principles they you are lacking!

    We ordered a medium tomahawk 1kg steak. It came to our table closer to well done. That is not great especially since its a very expensive dish. You would expect it to come to you 100% perfectly. We did end up eating the steak as we couldn't wait another 30 minutes to get new steaks prepared and brought to us, but we did inform the manager and they did say the grillers agreed that they grilled it too long. It's all good and well them owning up to it and offering us free coffee, but the streaks were almost R600 each! You get that right!
