Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The Waiter was very unfriendly and behaved as he was doing us a favour, my meal was mixed up, I asked for rump with BBQ sauce and received a dry sirloin with no basting. You did jot ask my permission before adding a 10% service charge! Never again Turn and tender. Terrible service and food no wonder it was si quiet!!! I will also not recommend to our company or our clients

    Our service was not great! One of the 5 meals was forgotten and had a mad scramble to get it prepared. My steak was very tough. I could not eat it. My chicken livers- ordered non peri peri and received peri peri. Tasty but super hot. The waiter forgot to ask if we wanted coffee. Not a great experience ! Will not return or ever recommend this Resturant

    Charles, our server was a true gentleman and professional. He also took charge when my wife forgot her handbag in the restaurant. He is a real ambassador. The food, service and ambience were excellent! We will definitely be back - regularly!
