Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Turn N Tender - Parktown is an absolutely awesome restaurant. Brilliant friendly staff and service with excellent quality food. It is always a pleasure to dine there, with family, for business and entertaining our overseas guests who love it.

    Went in a Monday evening. The B-team appeared to be manning the place. Asked for my steak on a plate instead of a skillet - got a skillet. Waiter brought us a drink we never ordered. Pepper sauce barely tasted of pepper. Aged tuno steak was surprisingly flavourless - I’ve had tastier for cheaper nearby. I’ve really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Wondering what had changed?

    Turn ‘n Tender Parktown North never misses! Top-notch service, killer flavours, and always a hit with the fam. The burger was juicy, the vegan dish packed a tasty punch, and the steak? Perfectly grilled. Solid vibes, solid meal – every time.
