Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    We made a reservation and we were sat closest to the door when it was freezing cold and raining. Patrons who arrived later were given much better seating away from the cold. We had to ask multiple times for them to close the door. We love the resturant but I guess preferential treatment was given to their regulars and we got the tail end of it. We learned that we must never go month end in the evening as other times we have been there we have had much better service than we got that evening.

    Service was great they accommodated us for our end year team lunch so well given the short notice we gave on booking a reservation I would definitely recommend

    Great lunch yesterday at Turn n Tender Parktown North. Really good service from Musa and the team - he is such an experienced server, and it shows. Excellent

    We’ve been going to T&T in Parktown North for many years. This visit was an unusual disappointment. Both managers seem to have left and a lot seems to have changed. We don’t need raw meat brought to the table for selection purposes. It’s never been done before.
