Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends. We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Food is fantastic which was expected based on prior experience with other branches but the service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional!!

    Food was average service was awful. Waiter said he would be right back after 15 minutes we had to get another waiter to take our order. Cappuchinos were lukewarm not hot. First and last visit there!!

    We had 2 steaks both were inedible so hard couldn’t get the fork into it, both sirloin and fillet were sent back as we couldn’t eat them, ordered backed potato came on the hot plate cold inside sorry last night was embarrassing as I had overseas visitors for dinner. Left a lot of the food as it was terrible I am a regular diner at T&T last night was worst even the waiter was poor
