Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The meal was good value and the service was prompt. The restaurant had a good atmosphere. The vegetarian meal was a bit soggy - apparently made from canned ingredients. One of the steaks was tough (fillet should never be tough). Starters and the other mains were very good.

    Always hits the spot! Had an amazing time at Turn ‘n Tender—steak was cooked just right, and the service was top-notch. Loved the cozy vibe and the location made it super convenient. Definitely coming back!

    Everything was outstanding. The staff are incredible and very accommodating. Thenjiwe at your Waterfall branch deserves a mention. We had a 1 year old with us at dinner and she is quite a handful 😂 Thenji was so sweet with her and really went the extra mile to help us keep our little firecracker entertained and still focussed on being an incredible waitron. We’re even discussing going back tonight for the ribs as the food was DELICIOUS 😂
