    Everything was excellent just most of my team who ate meat were complaining that it was dry not juicy. But otherwise we had fun.

    had my engagement party yesterday at V8 Roadhouse and was extremely disappointed. I made the booking two months in advance and physically went to check out the Skybar, requesting to book the floor for a maximum of 50 people and specifying that it was for an engagement party. When the booking was made, I was told no deposit was necessary. I even double-checked this as we expected a booking fee, but they assured us there wasn't one. ​Closer to the date, I communicated with the venue to confirm a final RSVP count of 37 people and sent them our pre-orders so the kitchen could prepare in advance. Once again, I offered to pay a deposit to secure the order, but was told the menu on their website was outdated and the food we wanted wasn't available. We were fine with this and changed our order accordingly. I spoke to Janice the day before the event and confirmed my booking via email the morning of. ​When we arrived, the floor was packed with people we didn't invite because they had left it open to the public. None of the food we ordered in advance had been prepared, and the waitress told us we only had a few chairs for our group of 37 people. I was obviously upset and phoned Janice, who told me she wasn't there and would send a manager. The manager then claimed we hadn't booked the floor—which was clearly our intent given we originally booked for 50 people—and told us they couldn't help us. We eventually settled on them not letting more people in, but it still took hours of me following up just to receive our food and have our tables cleared. On a night that I will only have once in my lifetime, the thing I will remember most is how this venue let me down and failed to plan a single thing despite me communicating with them the entire time.

    We hosted a baby shower of 20 guests and everyone was happy with the setup, food and the atmosphere was excellent
