VILLA 47 is the gastronomic manifestation of the last 20 years of sourcing, selecting and delivering the finest ingredients and food brands from around the world to discerning palates.
A dining emporium offering you three spaces under one roof. Locanda, Italian bistro in a stylish and modern seating area on the ground floor and extends to the first floor for a cozy and intimate dining experience. Martini Terrazze located on the ground floor behind Locanda is perfect for your pre-dinner drinks and cocktail events.

Locanda loosely translates to hotel or inn, and while accommodation is not on the menu, we invite our guests to enjoy and share in our passion for the finest quality Italian food.

    We had a fantastic meal with great service at Villa 47. It was a hit noisy so would be useful if they can create a quieter area on one of the floors, though. Service and our waiter were absolutely outstanding. We had, Frito, house salad, prawns, melanzane and fish to share and all delicious, well presented and generous portions. One person wanted not to share and he had the gnocci. He said it was a bit heavy. All in all we will return.

    We always have a fantastic meal at Villa 47, and often come back for more. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    The soup was excellent. The saltimboca was not good!! The other meals were ok. The service was friendly and good

    By Cape Town standards the restaurant is not cheap and its refusal to allow patrons to bring their own wine is unfortunate, especially the fact that the wine on offer is very expensive. Having said that the food was excellent and the service profeesional and efficient.
