    The location was amazing and you have a beautiful view of the area. However, the information received regarding the wine, the estate and the history of the area was lacking. We have done wine tours before (Italy and France) and there they spent a lot of time to explain the history of the area (how the initially started producing wine) and spent a lot of time about the wine you taste (how it is produced, the effect of the soil on the grapes, what flavours are added etc). During this wine tour we only received the name of the wine. We also choose this wine tour as it was more expensive compared to other estates and were hoping to receive more information, but we were left dissatisfied.

We would like to address and apologise for falling short of your expectations regarding the information provided during the wine tour. We apologise that you felt you didn't receive ample explanation of the wines tasted, and while in our tasting room, we focus on the history of Waterford Estate, we will endeavour to educate all on the history of Stellenbosch.     We enjoyed the wine tasting. Our waiter was very friendly and has good knowledge of the wines and history of the farm.

    Always a pleasure to to visit such an exerlent estate with such friendly and amazing hospitality. Wines and chocolates always an amazing experience and top notch quality. Views is breathtaking and staff are always treating guests with love and excitement. From wine staff to booking staff when making a reservation. Thanks guys you the best.

    The wine tasting was superb, excellent service, generous service, lovely venue BUT the platter was hugely disappointing. Hardly any charcuterie, 2 tiny bits of cheese (tiny blocks), then random sauces like pesto. The chicken liver parfait was good but the bread quality poor, and portions tiny.
