    The food was okay, it was only the desserts that tasted old. The cakes were not freshly baked you could tell from the taste that they were baked way before yesterday. Also the mixed fruits were missing a yoghurt.

    The food was absolutely delicious they was not a lot of people however it was Durban July weekend people were at the racing ground

    Upon arrival, I stated that I had made an online reservation, I was then asked twice for my room number, bear in mind the assistant was trying to help more than one patron at a time. I repeated that I had made an online reservation, I was then advised I may go to my table with a point of the finger, unaware of where my table was I had to locate it on my own. The service at the egg station was extremely slow. With it been the Hollywood July weekend, more staff would have been appreciated. The pancake station was not manned and had to ask for assistance and was then told they will find somebody to assist me. When staff was asked where to find additional crockery and cutlery they were unsure and again had to fiqure it out for ourselves. I am more than likely to visit you establishment again when its not a busy weekend and hoping for better experience.

    The hotel has a old world charm while providing for modern day tastes. Food was good and staff were great.
