Adjoining our restaurant and the quiet calm of the outdoors is the Rupert & Rothschild tasting centre – an ambient space embodying an understated elegance. Custom-made French oak furniture and a selection of artworks from the Rupert Museum make for a fine and intriguing setting – an ideal base from which to enjoy a whole world of wine under one roof.

RESERVATIONS ESSENTIAL
Reservations should ideally be made three days in advance for weekday tastings, and a week in advance for weekend tastings. This will allow us to prepare for your visit and offer you an exceptional Rupert & Rothschild experience.

Kindly note: Due to ongoing roadworks in our area, there may be delays when travelling to the estate. We recommend allowing extra time to ensure a relaxed, enjoyable visit.

    I am a returning client from overseas. My wife and I love the estate and brought our 2 adult children with for their first experience. We arrived and service was so lax that after repeated requests for orders etc I decided to settle the bill immediately and leave without completing our experience. I went in and spoke to the manager Cisca and to her credit, she was immediately apologetic and extremely professional and was willing to arrange a new visit and experience immediately. Unfortunately due to our travel schedule it was not possible but I did appreciate the offer. That is true managerial excellence. This means we will return again when visiting South Africa and try again…

    Little confused we tried to reschedule our tasting and on line it stated every other time was fully booked. We were ultimately there for 2 hours and were the only group wine tasting. We wanted to order something from the lunch menu and were told no they were too busy. The restaurant was only 1/4 full. It appears that management is not interested in serving the customers needs. Lovely setting though

    Wow, what an awesome experience and time we had at your establishment yesterday. The setting, wine, ambience and service was next level. From being welcomed at the parking area to being showed our tasting location one word sums it all up and that is excellent. We will surely return and spread the word about this out of this world experience.
