The concept for Wine Down came to mind after another great trip in the breath taking Cape Winelands of South Africa. Being back in Centurion we longed for a place where one can have a great glass of wine with friends, with the feeling you get when you’re on the farm, of origin, being hosted by the Winemaker.

We aim to give our clients a relaxed and enjoyable experience by introducing you to old and new wines that cannot necessarily be found at your local store.
Our Business Model is developed around our passion for People, Wine and most importantly our God that made this adventure possible for us. Our saying – “Water into Wine” is based on Jesus’s first miracle where he turned Water into Wine.

Wine Down is a place where your love and enjoyment for good food and a selection of boutique wine pairings can be explored at a modest prices. Being a Retail Store as well as a Boutique Bar walk in’s are welcome and clients can also make bookings.

    Nice venue and an excellent wine-tasting experience. Options for wine tasting were a bit limited but the specific wine we tasted were well curated and worth it. The platter we shared was very good quality. We will definitely go again.

Mothers day Mimosa Brunch and MCC Tasting.

A mothers sacrifice is not giving birth….it is 9 Months without wine. May is the month of Mothers. So we have 2 events in one day. You can have a Brunch and afterwards a taste of 3 different MCCs from Saltare Wine Farm. Mimosa Brunch: R250pp (1 Mimosa, Brunch included). 2 different time slots- book for 9:00am or book for 11:00am. MCC Tasting: R85pp (3 MCCs tasting). Tasting starts at 9:00am till 14:00pm. Spoil your mum for once! Bookings are essential.
