    We had a very nice dining experience. The food and wine were delicious, and the waitress was awesome!

    Authenticity and commitment are words that come to mind when I think back to our glorious experience at Wortelgat on the Springfontein Wine Estate. Well done to chef Janine and her team! We are fortunate to have these pockets of magic in the Western Cape.

    We have had a very nice afternoon at the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was good too. It‘s highly recommended to have the aperitif in the garden first. The estate is beautiful. We are of the opinion that we have enjoyed African food at its best. We recommend to bring some time with you and not to plan too much for the afternoon. You will enjoy it!!!!

    Terrible service, tiny dishes that were not very tasty and not explained (including undercooked lobster), the atmosphere felt very awkward and we had to wait 30-40min between courses. We landed up just leaving. After booking in advance, paying a deposit, and giving my dietary requirements - the kitchen was still unaware and unprepared- very disappointed. Will not return.

Our courses are all freshly prepared to give our guests the best possible experience with enough time in between so they do not feel rushed in any way.     Easter Saturday. Great tasting menu. Only one waiter for ALL tables! - Rollmops, crayfish and ceviche excellent. Great ingredients sourcing. 9 course takes too long though. Janine and kitchen team - 10/10
