Wyndford Restaurant is nestled on a working farm in the Eastern Free State Highlands, where the Caledon River borders Lesotho and the Maluti Mountains frame every view. We serve honest, seasonal food rooted in our own vegetable garden — a set menu that changes with each harvest, prepared simply and generously.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered Thursday to Sunday, with set menus designed around farm-to-fork principles and priced to make the experience genuinely accessible. Our boutique wine list draws exclusively from nine South African estates, selected personally and poured with pride.

This is not a restaurant in the city that happens to have a garden. It is a farm that happens to feed people well.

    The food was outstanding - I especially enjoyed the roast leg of lamb. Attending Sunday lunch at Wyndford was like being at a special family gathering: an unusual experience in this day and age.
