    Outstanding sushi; absolute highlight of the evening; the hot dishes ok; no ambience; drinks very pricey; although we were the only guests, service very mediocre (i.e nobody offered to re-fill wine glasses); it almost felt as if the staff couldn't wait for us to leave!

    I mean, it is a bit pricey and the staff working comes to your table to explain about the food and sauces just to be explained in a rush. But, the main problem in here is that there is no baby chair for babies. Such a restaurant established in 1995, it is a shame and not acceptable not to have baby chairs for the families who wants to enjoy. What i get from here is babies are not welcomed for your information.

    This was our first visit back to Yamato in many years and the quality and presentation was top notch. Our guests were similarly impressed. Nice to see the founders still active on the floor and also the kitchen. A gem worthy of rediscovering.

    The food was great and once we caught the eye of the poor waitress who was on the floor, she explained she was the only waitress and the other young woman was training. She was efficient and good once she got to us. Management should assist if they plan to have only one waitress on the floor, not just come by to ask if everything is OK! P.S: Food was fabulous and fresh and nicely presented.
