    Yamato is one of the few Japanese restaurants that offer authentic Japanese dishes other than sushi! The dishes were tasty, fresh and well presented. The waitress was attentive and the owner friendly. We were not disappointed. We are already planning our next visit!

    We loved that this was an authentically Japanese Restaurant and enjoyed the dishes we'd not have usually had at any other Asian restaurant. The presentation of the food was lovely!

    Outstanding sushi; absolute highlight of the evening; the hot dishes ok; no ambience; drinks very pricey; although we were the only guests, service very mediocre (i.e nobody offered to re-fill wine glasses); it almost felt as if the staff couldn't wait for us to leave!
