Situated in the heart of Sea Point with an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean, this restaurant offers a quiet escape from the hustle of the busy Sea Point Main Road. With a specialised menu designed for each meal of the day – breakfast, lunch and dinner, Zest isn’t a one-time visit kind of place; rather, it’s somewhere you’ll come back to time and again until it feels like home.

The wood-fired grill at Zest is the highlight of the kitchen. Chef Pavel believes that fresh is best and less is more. He believes that ingredient sourcing is most important, offering the best quality.

    Quality of food and service takes centre stage at Zest. They are both of the best that the world has to offer. The restaurant views are beautiful over the ocean but it is the ambience and warmth of the interior that sets it apart from its peers.     Give Alain (our waiter) a raise! He elevated our experience at Zest. Knowledgeable, professional and funny. The food was delicious (the meat and prawn platter was finger licking good), wine selection is great and ambiance is perfect for a nice Sat night dinner.

    I have done multiple dinner parties over the last few years in Cape Town with between 30 and 40 guests at each. Zest is, BY FAR, the ABSOLUTE best place. They have a spectacular private room, their staff are simply the best, far higher caliber than any other restaurant I have been to, and the food itself is out of this world. You can taste the beauty in the food, it looks beautiful and it tastes beautiful. They create an atmosphere and experience far beyond what the money we pay for it is worth. My guests rave about how much they love the Zest and we will continue to go there again and again because they are just the best in Cape Town! This is a gem beyond and is part of why we love Cape Town. Thank you to the whole Zest team for being so amazing!
