Addis in Cape provides you with a unique dining experience in the beautiful central part of Cape Town, where we proudly celebrated 10 years in 2017. We strive to showcase Ethiopia’s rich history and traditions and have gone to great lengths to ensure your dining experience is as authentically Ethiopian as possible.

From the traditional furnishings and the classic Ethiopian coffee ceremony to the serving of food itself, we offer an exotic alternative to anything you may be used to.     Fabulous evening! Perfect for a date night. We went with the recommended 3 course sharing meal and it was absolutely delicious. So rare to find a restaurant so authentic.

    Felt a bit too quiet - didn’t have that vibe we’re too. No baklava for dessert, and the prawn dish is now off the menu, which is a bit of a let down. Food was good though, and the service was great - we enjoyed ourselves.

    Thank you for yet another incredible and authentic Ethiopian experience! The food was absolutely delicious and expertly prepared, and my students thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We were truly grateful for the warmth and professionalism of the staff, as well as the kindness, care, and personal attention from Senait, our gracious host. Highly recommended!
