Sushi legend Hatsushiro Muraoka, fondly known as Papa San, joined forces with chef-partner Ben Bettendorf to open Obi on Long Street. We reported in May that the two saw Obi as an opportunity to showcase the clean flavours of Japanese cuisine, and this they do here with simplicity and skill.

    Best sushi in CT! Very quick service for hangry patrons and excellent quality. Ordered 2 of the winter specials to share between 4 pax with miso soup to start, then tempura veg, a boat and 2 rolls. Excellent! We travel from the other side of the boerewors curtain for Obi
