Chef and charcuterie whizz Neil Jewell, together with his wife Tina Jewell, at the helm of this farm-to-table eatery at Spice Route Destination. The open-kitchen restaurant has comfortable yet sophisticated-country style indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with picturesque views of the Simonsberg Mountains and Table Mountain. As you would expect, only the best-quality ingredients are used in the dishes, with a regularly updated seasonal menu.

    Good morning, Everything about our experience was absolutely superb. From the very beginning, Tina the hostess, was phenomenal - warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our waiter, Valentino, matched that same level throughout the meal. The setting was lovely, though one small point worth mentioning is that the windows at our table couldn't be opened. Being able to open them - especially on a beautiful say would add so much more to the ambiance and overall atmosphere. There was also a minor hiccup at the end of our visit we ordered a double espresso with grappa, only to find that grappa wasn't available. This was a slight disappointment, particularly with a supplier located so nearby. That said, these were small points in an otherwise outstanding experience. Everything else was exceptional, and we would highly recommend it. We will most certainly be returning.

    A lovely afternoon lunch in this restaurant. Wonderful staff and the chefs wife was so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you.
