Chef and charcuterie whizz Neil Jewell, together with his wife Tina Jewell, at the helm of this farm-to-table eatery at Spice Route Destination. The open-kitchen restaurant has comfortable yet sophisticated-country style indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with picturesque views of the Simonsberg Mountains and Table Mountain. As you would expect, only the best-quality ingredients are used in the dishes, with a regularly updated seasonal menu.

    Jewells remains the under-the-radar gem of Cape restaurants - exprienced Chef Neil Jewell's (he prefers the more plain 'cook') latest charcuterie offerings... the man is truly gifted! The chars-board was complemented by Leaxy's extraordinary bread selection - this 'legend of leavening' has been baking with Neil for 23 years and it shows! We then enjoyed excellent Cape Salmon and a pork chop par excellence - sadly no room left for pud... which is simply testament the great value that these generous Jewells portions represents. Add to this the best views in the Cape Winelands and my advice is simple: go there... this weekend!

    Fabulous experience- super friendly service, innovative menu options, delicious food and a great value wine list. A firm favourite of ours. The location is breathtaking!
