    The setting and interior of the restaurant are absolutely lovely—elegant and inviting. However, the acoustics leave much to be desired, making conversation challenging even though there were only 4 tables seated. I ordered the sustainable kingklip, which was exceptional—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Unfortunately, my husband’s chargrilled sirloin steak fell short of expectations; it was tough and lacked flavour, which was disappointing given our usual standards. A special mention goes to Amy, our waiter, who was an absolute star—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Overall, a mixed experience with highlights in ambiance and service, but inconsistency in the kitchen and improvement in acoustics recommended.

    A lovely evening out. The 3 course special is very good value for money. The helpings were very generous considering this was a special deal. The food was outstanding. Service and ambiance were top class
