    What an outstanding evening. We took some business clients for dinner. The food was stunningly prepared and presented. Every morsel was delicious and a taste adventure. I tasted so many new flavours. What a joy! I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a stunning evening. The venue is quirky and stunning. During the day or in summer, the outside seating will be amazing. We sat inside with the fireplace going and keeping us warm. The staff was super attentive and friendly. A MUST VISIT!

    Wonderful from start to finish. Highly elevated food, done in an unpretentious and down-to-earth way. Delicious, nutritious and beautifully presented. We had the BEST afternoon as friends. Thank you, chefs, and Tatanda, for making my birthday so happy.

    From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the winery dogs, easily some of the cutest and friendliest greeters you could ask for. The à la carte menu was perfect for sharing, allowing us to try a variety of dishes across the menu, and every course was exceptional. The standout for us was definitely the bread served with butter and honey harvested directly from the winery’s own bees, simple but unforgettable. The beef short ribs were also outstanding: beautifully cooked, rich, and full of flavour. Honestly though, every dish we ordered was impressive. A special mention has to go to Babalwa, who made the experience even more memorable. Her service was warm, attentive, and genuinely outstanding. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, and it would absolutely be worth returning just to be looked after by her again. An incredible dining experience from start to finish, highly recommended.

    It was a great pleasure to be Nick's guests again! The warm welcome and the inviting atmosphere inside the restaurant immediately made us want to linger and set the stage for a wonderful lunch. We sat on the terrace right by the small pond, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was excellent once again, especially the beef cheeks! But the other dishes, particularly the springbok loins, also harmonised beautifully. The Marianne wines are first-rate, both the blend and the Pinotage. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Melfort!
