    The food is a far cry from the first time we ate at Melfort two years ago at Annadale road. Portion are smaller definatly not sharing plates anymore, overall the food and dishes are not as tasty as before. The bread was dry the chicken schnitzel was super small and over cooked. The desserts was a dissapointment. The lemon ice tea was plesant. Hopefully they will get back to what once drew us to go back. Service was very slow.

    It's rare to find a spot that combines ingredients sourced from regenerative farmers and foodmakers into beautiful, creative and absolutely delicious dishes, and serves them in the most gorgeous location. An absolute gem of a restaurant.

    Very good experience. The setting is next to a lake and the ambience is great. In winter the indoor fire place is setting the ambience. Highly recommended.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in my 58 years. Innovative dishes made with incredibly fresh, farm-grown produce. The setting is rustic and could use a furniture upgrade, but the charm—and the value for the quality of food—can’t be beat. An unforgettable dining experience. I'll be back and will be talking about this meal for a while.
