    Really excellent. No joke. Don’t let the informal setting deceive you. This is, sitting at ‘your kitchen table’, one of your most fascinating, well-executed, decidedly South African, meals - checking all the boxes (nice acidity, crunchy here and there, amazing mutton first sous-vide then crispy baked. Awesome. Jerusalem artichokes and tempura - all so good). Top notch cooking by a young and knowledgeable staff. Service is also great, relaxed but very on point. Reserve wines, all locally sourced (ooh that honey and lettuce), hyper authentic. Great evening or lunch out. Impressed, really. Don’t miss.

    Melfort is beautiful,The service was amazing ,the food is delicious and beautiful presentation,you can see the team pays attention to details and is passionate about what they do ,we had so much fun learning all the wonderful cuisines and it's child friendly and got some honey and olive oil.....Love it

    Total dissapoiment. We tried every single meal, and many were not edible. Sirloin was disgusting, smelly, and maybe rotten—there were many errors in the food. The staff was untrained. The menu is confusing. It has the vibe of a family restaurant, not high cuisine, which they pretend to be.

    Beautiful venue, we had the easter menu which was spot on...the food was great and the service matched the food. Very friendly and very able staff and management, we will definitely be back
